Another update! I was told I would get a refund back 25 days ago. I also have a voicemail on my phone stating this as well. Again they never followed through and promised something they aren't delivering. AGAIN, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Pretty good food at a fair price. Service was okay, but i think we got a new guy. He didnt know how to make an old fashioned.
We planned a surprise birthday dinner for my wife here. I was concerned about this location considering about 2 months ago, we had had dinner here and was not happy. Servers aimlessly going about, food was ok and waitress didn’t know what was on the menu. Man, what a turn around! We had one of the best waiters I have had anywhere, food was cooked perfectly and brought out at the same time (it was a party of 10) and of course the atmosphere was perfect! Thank you for making my wife’s birthday a great experience!
I felt like we had entered an alternate universe where time no longer had any meaning. I was born at Regatta's, lived my entire life, died, and was buried. I was then born again in the same seat waiting for them to take our drink order. And this was with reservations on a weekday, which admittedly we were slightly early for. Food was pretty good, though.
I would not recommend this place. We waited 45 mins for our drinks, got complementary drinks that weren't made correctly, waited another 30 mins for our food. The food was pure cold!!! The server couldn't remember any orders and had to ask use 3 times in order to get our checks right. Took us 2 hours total waiting and the best part... the waitress added an extra tip on my card for herself! Horrible service and cold food!
Went here on Firday night and wanted to sit outside and be waited on. It was a perfect night with no wind, but we were told that we would have to wait on ourselves because they were not serving outside until Memorial Day. I feel that it the conditions are favorable and the tables are outside, why not serve. Also help was not an issue as they had very few tables inside and 6 waitresses needing something to do. I hope that this changes in the future as it is the only place in Storm Lake where you can get food and drinks sitting outside by the lake.
