I can honestly say I've never been so insulted when at a game stop before in my life. They men that worked here could not for the life of them find my face and I was dressed in a heavy jacket and sweatpants because how cold it was. And when I attempted to pick up some games I preordered they wouldn't even acknowledge I was there at the counter and would help others out. From now on I will only get my games online.
Another memory was when I brought in my Xbox 360 and was going to trade in everything I had for credit to put toward an Xbox One. After testing and checking everything worked the employee asked me if I was sure I wanted to do this I of course said yes and he formatted my HD. (Erased Everything) Well then rung it up and said with all the games and Xbox with everything I would get 60$ store credit. I was told since I didn't have the AV cables and the original controller it was only worth a small fraction of the price they would have given. I know this is company policy's fault but still he should have informed me before completely wiping my HD. Lucky I sold it that night to someone at work for 150$ what I was hoping for from GS.
Friendly, helpful, but a bit expensive for used games and hardware

Infamous Game Stop, I have had many unpleasant memories with this particular branch. One of which was when I was in high school and I was dating a girl who was an ex of one of their (at the time) employees. I walked in and was immediately confronted by the manager and told I was being kicked off the property because the employee (now former) told the manager I threatened his son whom I have never met. But this was several years ago.
TL:DR: Its GS your going to get conned if your looking for trade-in.
I wish there was a lower rating I could give this store because I would.
The people that work there don't seem to know what they are doing and the website and the store are very different
